Early Morning Dance Party

We discovered a show about the Leapfrog character "Scout" on Netflix.  It includes a phonix hoedown and Felix danced to it repeatedly one morning.

Cheerio Party

500th Post!

I've been negligent again, poor blog, but please know that I have been busy looking after my 3 boys.  The oldest, Stephen, broke his wrist 5 weeks ago.  He has one more week to go in the cast (knock on fibreglass) and has been taking things pretty well considering his usual "go go go" lifestyle.  We actually took some time to hang out together when he was off work and remembered that we really like each other (even if  I have to cut his food at dinner and help him with various other grooming basic-life activities).

The middle boy, Felix, is suddenly a little boy.  (It seems like I was just putting his ultrasound pics on this blog not so long ago.) He likes to play tricks on us and "help".  He loves to go to wading pools and splash pads.  He caught his first fish, carries around frogs named "toadie", and is very cuddly and asks us to get him a blanket to make him feel "comfy".  He is interested in pirates and street sweepers among other things.

Our little guy, Wilbert, is a smiley one mixed with looks of "concern" or just trying to figure out what is going on around him.  He is happiest when Felix is here so he can crawl around after him and try to touch whatever Felix might be playing with.  Yesterday, I almost fell off the couch when he started saying "uh oh" and "cat" (more like cccctttat) and Dada.  He hasn't been much of a babbler and instead just waited until he could spit out some words.

And me, I'm trying to come to terms with my dwindling amount of mat. leave remaining and trying to figure out how I can get home to visit my family and friends before it is over.  I've been going to a few concerts at work and am missing it, but this year has just been so much fun.
