My mom finished and brought up a quilt for baby Isla last week, and Steve suggested that we deliver it to the Ursu's in person. We left on Saturday morning nice and early and made the 5.5 hour drive up to Lloyd. It was nice to get out of our house and Regina and to hit the road. Jolene & Ian & Isla took us out to their favourite Greek dining establishment. It was delicious. We were all exhausted and full of delicious food and cheesecake so we sat around chatting on the couch and had a nice lazy quiet night. Ian made everyone a delicious Sunday breakfast and then we hit the road again as we had to get back in time for Eat Your Way Around the World: Ethiopia.
This weekend was the RSO's first Centennial Run-Out concert and we took The Oscars programme to Swift Current. A packed Sky Centre at the new casino enjoyed the concert and there were plenty of smiling faces in the audience. I had the fun of driving out with Victor who taught me a lot about how to speed effectively without getting caught as we listened to his favourite classical station on Sirius.
