Pre-vaccination Guilt
I'm sitting here chewing on my braid because Felix's 6 month shots are in 1.5 hours. He has no idea of course. He's been so incredibly happy all day, officially over his cold. No whining. He laughed hysterically when he woke up from his morning nap, played contentedly by himself for an hour with his toys, and sat on the grass while I did some gardening and laughed whenever I looked at him. He is one happy baby...and in 1.5 hours that happiness will end in screams. I'm such a wuss when it comes to this stuff!!

I know - I think these shots are worse for the parents than the babies. Be sure to give him some tempra or tylenol before you leave the house. I always feel even worse when they are laughing it up in the waiting room just before. UGH. But after some tears, they are back to their old selves pretty quick. Especially a trooper like Felix!
