The Milky Way is one of the best little non-secrets in Regina. It's a tiny hole-in-the-wall ice cream shack on Victoria Ave. It is a seasonal walk-up type of place and there is always a line-up on the sidewalk there as soon as it opens in late April.
We decided to head there tonight after supper and thought that we could avoid the usual line because of the rain, but sure enough the ever present line was there, but well worth the wait for the amazing number of choices of ice cream related treats. I love most of all that it is not a chain restaurant, which is rare in Regina amongst the Applebee's, Montana's, and Tony Roma's.
Sounds like Tom's on the Queensway (craving!). I love those little places... we found a fab non-chain ice cream place in Streetsville, which is good (for my tummy) and bad (for my waistline) ;)
